Nothing unusual here: read it, share it, come to a meetup. This page sets out the few things worth saying plainly.

The site
This is the website of Buk'd & Bougie Book Club, a book club. You are welcome to read it, link to it and share it. The words, photographs and artwork on it belong to the book club or to the people who made them, so please ask before republishing any of it somewhere else.
Joining in
Meetups, outreach and the WhatsApp community are open to anyone who wants to take part, and we ask for the ordinary courtesy you would show in a room full of readers. We may ask someone to leave a group or an event if that stops being true.
Books, donations and other people's shops
Book links point to Amazon, and donations go through Paystack. We don't take payments on this site and we don't hold your card details; the sale, the delivery and the refund are between you and them, under their terms.
What we can promise
We keep the site accurate as best we can, but reading lists change, events move and the occasional link rots. The site comes as it is: we can't promise it will always be available or error-free, and we are not responsible for what you find on the other end of a link to someone else's site.
Changes
If these terms change we will change the date at the top. Anything unclear, write to hello@bukdandbougie.com and we will explain it.
